Ministry Staff
Pastor
On Sunday, January 7th, 2007 Miracle began the New Year welcoming Reverand Todd and Cathy Kirkland into our church family. Todd and Cathy have moved 500 miles from home (the Columbia, South Carolina area) to follow God’s call to be with us at Miracle.
Upon completion of his dissertation Brother Todd will attain his Doctorate Degree from Trinity Theological Seminary. Todd also holds a Master’s degree from Trinity. Todd and Cathy came to Miracle looking for a church that has a community spirit, sees itself as a working body focused on Christ as the head, accepts the call of evangelizing the lost, discipling the convert and encouraging maturity of the believer. Todd and Cathy are a team who want to share their gifts to enable Christians to know, with confidence, what they believe and why they believe it.
Brother Todd’s strengths are in Bible knowledge and memorization, mentoring, administration, counseling of all ages, promoting strong marriages, and integrity. God has granted both Todd and Cathy a gift to be able to share Christ boldly and lead others, from all walks of life, to Himself.
Minister of Music
Gilbert and Melissa Aldridge have been with Miracle since January of 2007 when Gilbert accepted the position of Minister of Music where he serves in a part time position. He has been in church music ministry for over twenty years. He will be starting a new job this fall as the Choral Director at Lavergne High Schoo, Gilbert is following his conviction that "God has plans that we cannot see or foresee, and I am just trying to do His will." Gilbert feels that serving part-time at Miracle is a challenge because of the large group of talented people in every age group. Choir is available for every age, as well as a Praise Band for Youth and adults. If you are visiting or already attending Miracle Baptist, you are invited to join us in any of these Musical groups.
"Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."
I Cor. 15:58 - NIV
