Dr. Michael Todd Kirkland, Ph.D. and his wife Mrs. Cathy Kirkland have been serving Miracle Baptist Church in La Vergne, TN. For the past four and a half years as Senior Pastor and wife. In that time God has been doing some wonderful things in the life of Miracle Baptist Church as well as in their personal lives.

   Dennis Robison was called by Miracle Baptist Church to serve as our youth leader on Jan 4th 2009.  Dennis served previously at MBC from late 1997 to mid 2003.  He and his wife Sarah were married on May 19, 1990 and immediately began youth pastoring at Fellowship Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina. Sarah and Dennis have continued serving youth and look forward to the privilege of doing it again at Miracle.

   Crissi was born in Nashville, TN December 20, 1977. She grew up in Truine Tn and graduated from Ezell Harding Christian School in 1996. She married Fritz Heer in June 1998. Crissi, graduated from MTSU in 2005 with a bachelors degree in Business administration and a minor in Office management. They have two Daughters, Cali Anne and Hayli Broke. Cali was born April 26, 1999, and  Hayli was born April 2, 2002. They have been members of Miracle Baptist Church for 8 years. In August 2008, Crissi became the office administrator here at miracle Baptist church.  She feels so blessed to be apart of such a wonder church family and serving the Lord

   Tony Hicks was called by Miracle Baptist Church to serve as the interim music director on November 10, 2010.  Tony and his wife Jamie were married on October 20, 1990 and have been serving together since that time in choirs, ensembles, and as soloist and musicians. Tony and Jamie began their ministry as the music director and pianist respectively at the newly formed Living Springs Baptist Church in Smyrna, TN in August, 1998 just before the birth of their daughter, Madelyn.  They have a son, Brantley and 3 granddaughters, Callie, Allie and Hallie.

   Sandy began playing church music at an early age and has been playing in churches most of her life.  She understands that hymns are an integral part of our worship and can actually play a part in someone's acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.  For instance, Fanny Crosby accepted her gift of salvation when she was touched by a hymn.

She also has a ministry for small churches who do not have a pianist, or other accompaniment, through a series of CDs.
