Royal Ambassadors (RA'S)
The focus of Royal Ambassadors (RA’s) is to equip boys in the 1st through 6th grades to become well informed followers of Christ who are the future of our church. The name Royal Ambassadors is taken from the scripture 2 Corinthians 5:17-20 where Christians are called Christ’s ambassadors. RA’s pledge to have a Christ-like concern for all people, to learn how to carry the message of Christ around the world, to work with others in sharing Christ, and to keep themselves clean and healthy in body and mind.
The students are guided to experience and build virtues such as Loyalty, Friendship, Courage, Responsibility, Honesty, Faith, Compassion, Perseverance, Teamwork, and Discipline on an individual basis as well as in a group setting. Each student has a Personal Growth Planbook which guides them on this path based on their specific grade level.
Students are also exposed to missionary stories about these virtues, hearing real world testimonies about these virtues, and led to participate in missions and ministry projects that teach them what the Bible says about these virtues and how to put them into practice.
