The focus of Girls in Action (GAs) is to help girls in 1st through 6th grade, through the guidance of the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU), be better educated on what a missionary is, and what a typical day in the life of a missionary is like. Students are encouraged to participate in projects resembling missionary-like duties which may reap results such as encouragement, monetary support, or physical needs for missionaries. The GA program teaches girls that “serving” is a fruit of the Spirit and leads them through the process of spiritual maturity by fulfilling the Serve component of our REACH-CONNECT-GROW-SERVE vision at Miracle Baptist Church.
